Business and Enterprise Systems Product Innovation (BESPIN) is excited to announce its partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to create a capability that simplifies and streamlines manual data tasks and improves user experience.

In July 2023, BESPIN and the CDC signed a Memorandum of Understanding outlining plans to work together to address the CDC’s data modernization needs and as of January 2024, we are under contract.

“This partnership with the CDC to provide enterprise services is an excellent opportunity to showcase the technical capability of BESPIN’s Design Studio,” said BESPIN’s Chief Operating Officer, Lt. Col. Tyler Hough. “BESPIN has been intentional in its efforts to deliver better design capabilities to the Air Force through this enterprise service. Because of our intentionality, partnerships with the CDC are a reality and BESPIN is excited to get after the design mission with our new partner.”

BESPIN’s Design Studio will help the CDC’s Office of Public Health Data, Surveillance, and Technology enable the exchange of interoperable data so that healthcare, state, tribal, local, and territorial health departments, federal agency partners, and CDC programs can access and use data they need.

The Design Studio also provides services to help application teams understand and simplify complex problems that require modern technological solutions. This team helps build and deliver high-quality, user-centered products that empower Airmen to achieve mission success.

BESPIN is a software solution center chartered to build the Air Force Mobile Center of Excellence and to scale cloud and mobile application development across the Air Force and Department of Defense.
