C-130 HERCULES
Mission
  • Provide tactical airlift capabilities to the Total Force, while providing unique capabilities for weather reconnaissance, airborne firefighting, aerial spraying, and Arctic/Antarctic supply support
  • Aircraft is capable of operating from rough, dirt strips and is the prime transport for airdropping troops and equipment into hostile areas and difficult terrains
