COLONEL BORIS SHIF- DIRECTOR OF INTELLIGENCE

Lt Col Boris ShifCol Boris Shif is the Director of Intelligence for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center. In this role, he is responsible for leading over 130 analysts and engineers at six geographically separated locations in providing Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) analysis, information, and support for developing and sustaining warfighting systems, focusing on threat definition and assessments, geospatial information and services, and ISR Infrastructure.

Col Shif enlisted in the Air Force in 1995 as a public health technician. After assignments to Hurlburt Field and Aviano AB, he was selected for Airman Scholarship and Commissioning Program in 1999. Col Shif completed ROTC at University of Texas in 2001. He has extensive operational intelligence experience in flying unit operations, collection management, geo-political analysis, training/instructing, MAJCOM-level planning/targeting, and served as an action officer on SOCOM and SAF staffs. During his multiple deployments, he served as sole Special Operations Command Pacific analyst in Indonesia, Analyst for Special Operations Command Central, Combined Forces Special Operations Component Command-Afghanistan ISR manager, and Deputy J2, TF-27. Prior to his current assignment, Col Shif served as Chief, Analysis Division, Directorate of ISR, U.S. Air Forces in Europe-U.S. Air Forces Africa, Ramstein Air Base, Germany. He was responsible for leading a 42-member division analyzing adversary capabilities and intent in support of two combatant commands.

MR. RICHARD A. BLAKEWOOD - DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF INTELLIGENCE

Richard Blakewood bio photoRichard A. Blakewood is the Deputy Director of Intelligence for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Air Force Materiel Command, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. He is responsible for providing timely Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) analysis, information, and support for developing and sustaining warfighting systems, focusing primarily on intelligence strategic planning, future threat definition and assessments, intelligence supportability analysis, intelligence mission data, and ISR infrastructure.

Mr. Blakewood graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 2001. While on active duty, he served as an intelligence officer in assignments at Royal Air Force Lakenheath, MacDill Air Force Base, and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. As an Air Force Civilian, he has primarily focused on intelligence support to acquisition, having served in a variety of intelligence assignments at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center, Air Force Materiel Command Headquarters, and Air Force Life Cycle Management center. As an Air National Guardsman, Lt Col Blakewood has commanded at the Squadron and Detachment levels and is currently the Deputy Commander of the 181st ISR Group. During his active duty and reserve career, he deployed in support of Operations ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM, and FREEDOM'S SENTINEL and has commanded ISR operations in support of Operations INHERENT RESOLVE and ODYSSEY DAWN.

Identify and meet all life cycle intelligence requirements for weapons system acquisition activities at Eglin AFB.

ACQUISITION INTEL DIVISION, ROBINS AFB GEORGIA (AFLCMC/ING)

Provide Intelligence Support to Acquisition, Threat Support, Special Security Office (SSO) Support, and Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Communication support to installation and center customers at Robins AFB.

ACQUISITION INTEL DIVISION, HANSCOM AFB, MASSACHUSETTS (AFLCMC/INH)

Engage Programs, Projects and Development Planning to enable SCI access and linkage to AF and National Intel Communities in order to address Intel Supportability and Adversary/Threat Considerations. 

ACQUISITION INTEL DIVISION, TINKER AFB, OKLAHOMA (AFLCMC/INB)

Enhance the mission effectiveness and survivability of Tinker-managed weapons system in future conflicts, and support intelligence-sensitive new acquisitions and modification to minimize disruption to program cost, schedule and performance. 

ACQUISITION INTEL DIVISION, HILL AFB UTAH (AFLCMC/INL)

Identify and meet all lifecycle intelligence requirements and provide all-source intelligence support, Force Protection, Special Security Office (SSO), and Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communication Services (JWICS) support for acquisition programs at Hill AFB.

SPECIAL INTEL DIVISION, WRIGHT-PATTERSON AFB, OHIO (AFLCMC/INZ)

Supports Air Force development S&T efforts with world-class intelligence expertise. Functions as the ONLY CPA organization for Air Force special projects and early acquisition efforts.

FOREIGN MILITARY SALES INTEL DIVISION, WRIGHT-PATTERSON AFB, OHIO (AFLCMC/INF)

Provide comprehensive Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) subject matter expertise support to USAF Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs.
