BRIGADIER GENERAL JASON E. BARTOLOMEI - PEO OF ARMAMENT DIRECTORATE
Brig. Gen. Jason Bartolomei
is the Program Executive Officer for Weapons and Director of the Armament Directorate, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Air Force Materiel Command, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. He is responsible for the planning and execution of all life cycle activities for air-delivered munitions, including the Advance Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missile, Hard Target Void Sensing Fuze, Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile, Joint Direct Attack Munition; Joint Programmable Fuze, Miniature Air Launched Decoy; and Small Diameter Bomb. His $92 billion portfolio also includes numerous other legacy weapons and ammunition; combat training systems; threat emitters for test and training purposes; and aerial targets including the QF-16 and BQM-167A.

Led by the Air Force Program Executive Officer for Weapons, the directorate reports to both the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, Washington D.C., and the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
The directorate designs, develops, produces, fields, and sustains a family of air-to-ground and air-to-air munitions for both U.S. and allied nations to defeat a spectrum of enemy targets.

Delivers advanced, long-range, precise air-launched weapon capabilities…at the speed of operational relevance.
AGILE WEAPONS DIVISION (AFLCMC/EBX)
MISSION:
Acquires dominant strike weapon capabilities with speed and agility through transformative digital acquisition and open architecture approaches.
DISRUPTIVE FUTURES DIVISION (AFLCMC/EBZ)
MISSION:
The hub of armament concept creation and capability cultivation, one that is undaunted by risk, harnesses the brilliance of people from all sectors, boldly grasps technology’s leading edge, sharpens it, and thrusts it into warfighters hands to deter at peace and defeat in armed conflict.
DIRECT ATTACK DIVISION (AFLCMC/EBD)
MISSION:
Forge unmatched lethality by delivering innovative and dominant Direct Attack capabilities while developing acquisition leaders.
OPERATIONS DIVISION (AFLCMC/EBO)
MISSION:
Multi-functional support organization, dedicated to providing superior products and services across the spectrum of human resources, information technology, facilities, information assurance and security support.
RANGE SYSTEMS DIVISION (AFLCMC/HBZ)
MISSION:
Provides the infrastructure and tools to train the world’s best aircrew for survivability in high-threat environments.
SUSTAINMENT DIVISION (AFLCMC/EBW)
MISSION:
Acquires, manages, and sustains missiles and weapons systems to meet worldwide warfighter requirements and deliver global capabilities.
MUNITIONS DIVISION (AFLCMC/EBH)
MISSION:
Arm and sustain the Defenders of Freedom with war-winning munitions capabilities for US and partner nations.
