What is SBEAS?

This contract is an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) vehicle for the NC2 ASSB. Its purpose is to give organizations access to a broad range of IT services and solutions that support the full IT lifecycle. It can be used by the Business and Enterprise Systems (BES) Directorate, Air Force major commands, and other agencies that have an Air Force requirement.

Scope of SBEAS:

SBEAS provides a full range of IT services and solutions to support the development, operation, and modernization of Air Force IT systems. The contract covers everything needed to build, manage, secure, and improve IT environments, including:

  • IT system and software development support
  • Documentation and technical writing
  • System operations and maintenance
  • Software and system deployment
  • Cybersecurity services
  • Configuration management
  • User and administrator training
  • Management of commercial off‑the‑shelf (COTS) products
  • Technology upgrades and refresh
  • Data and information services
  • Information display and visualization tools
  • Business and program analysis for IT initiatives

Designed for Small Businesses

SBEAS is built to include and empower small businesses—especially those working in new, innovative, or advanced technologies. This supports federal goals to increase small business participation in government IT work.

Flexible Contract Structure

As an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) vehicle, SBEAS allows the government to request IT services as needed over a set period. There’s no need to start a new procurement each time, which saves time and reduces administrative burden.

Task Order–Based Work

After companies are awarded a spot on the contract, the government issues task orders for specific projects. This streamlined approach speeds up delivery and lowers the cost of acquiring individual services.

Wide Range of IT Services

SBEAS can be used for many types of technology work, including:

  • Research and development
  • Prototyping
  • Systems integration
  • Consulting and advisory services
  • Other IT‑related support
  • Purpose and Value
Overall, SBEAS is designed to simplify how the government buys IT services while encouraging innovation and supporting small businesses that can deliver modern, mission‑focused solutions.
