SENIOR MASTER SERGEANT TODD J. WIREMAN SMSgt Todd Jacob Wireman is the First Sergeant for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. He serves as the commanders’ focal point for monitoring the health, welfare, discipline, and morale of the centers 28,000 total force Airmen. He also serves as the commander’s principal advisor on quality force actions and mentors Airmen assigned to the unit on career progression, education, retraining, retention, retirement and separation programs. Sergeant Wireman is the commander’s liaison for medical recovery and support programs. Additionally, he acts as the unit representative on a myriad of advisory, disciplinary, and support boards for two Command Chief Master Sergeants and several military and family support agencies. Finally, as an expeditionary leader, he ensures personnel comply with Air Force and organizational policies, sustaining a mission ready force. Senior Master Sergeant Wireman originates from Cridersville, Ohio. In May 2007 he entered active duty as a Command Post Emergency Actions Controller. After completion of technical training in August 2007, he was stationed at Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma and assigned to the 97th Air Mobility Wing Command Post. In 2012, he was selected to be a member of a unique cadre team that initialized a new special duty within the Command Post career field for the 1st Helicopter Squadron. During his tenure he became the first certified aerial flyover controller and conducted numerous UH-1N funeral and ceremonial flyovers throughout the National Capital Region. Senior Master Sergeant Wireman has over 15 years of military service time. He has deployed in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM and ENDURING FREEDOM. His background includes numerous Command and Control leadership positions supporting multiple aircraft and weapon systems including C-17, KC-135, KC-10, U-2, RQ-4, Airborne Warning and Control Systems, National Airborne Operations Center, and UH-1N. He has also served as a member of several Department of Defense National Contingency teams. Prior to his current position, he was the First Sergeant for the 338th Recruiting Squadron.
