Gordon Kordyak

Mr. Gordon Kordyak is the Deputy of the Department of the Air Force Program Executive Office Command, Control, Communications and Battle Management (DAF PEO C3BM), Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, the Pentagon, Arlington, Virginia. Mr. Kordyak serves as the senior Space Force representative of the organization; guiding Air and Space programmatic integration in support of the DAF BATTLE NETWORK.  

DAF PEO C3BM integrates the C3BM materiel enterprise within the department, aligning technical architecture and acquisition authorities to streamline the delivery of decision advantage capabilities via the DAF BATTLE NETWORK. It integrates roughly 50 programs of record across the Department, ensuring resilient decision and information advantage needed by the Air Force, Space Force, Joint, and Coalition forces to win against the pacing challenge. It is the DAF’s contribution to Combined Joint All Domain Command and Control. 

Prior to responsibilities with DAF PEO C3BM, Mr. Kordyak held senior leadership roles as the Deputy Director of Capability Delivery, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Space Acquisition and Integration, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, the Pentagon, Arlington, VA and as the Senior Materiel Leader overseeing the development and sustainment of Space Domain Awareness programs for Space Systems Command. Mr. Kordyak was also the U.S. Space Force Executive Agent for Space Domain Awareness (SDA), leading end-to-end integration of the SDA enterprise on the behalf of the US Space Force Chief of Space Operations.  

As a uniformed Airman, Kordyak commissioned in 2002 through the California State University San Bernardino Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps program. Upon separating from the Air Force in 2007, Mr. Kordyak served as a contractor providing technical advisory support to (now) Space Systems Command before transitioning to a senior civilian leader in the Department of the Air Force.  

Mr. Kordyak attended the University of Redlands and holds a double bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Political Science. He also has a master’s degree in both International Relations/Diplomacy and in Business.
