CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT ALEXIS “ALEX” DELGADILLO CMSgt Alexis Delgadillo is the Chief of Acquisitions and Sustainment for Aircrew Flight Equipment at the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio. He is the principal advisor to the Directorate on matters related to performance, survival and force capabilities to US and allied air, ground, and naval forces affecting over 500,000 Airmen, 14,000 Guardians, and 5,300 aircraft, and 10 Major Commands. His responsibilities span development, production, and sustainment of human-centered systems including Aircrew Flight Equipment, Egress, Survival, Nuclear/Biological/Chemical Defense, Aeromedical equipment, medical information, safe-to-fly certification testing, AF uniforms, and aircraft mishap analysis. Chief Master Sergeant Delgadillo entered the Air Force in September 2001 after graduating Winter Park High School at Orlando, Florida. His background includes multiple assignments as an AFE (formerly Aircrew Life Support) Noncommissioned Officer in Charge, Quality Assurance, Flight Chief, and Superintendent supporting A-10, B-1, E-3, F-22, and A/MC-130 aircraft and aircrew. Additionally, he has held key leadership positions as an Executive Assistant to the Operations Group Superintendent, and Air Combat Command Lead AFE Inspector Superintendent of the Operations Inspections Branch. He has been stationed at locations in North Carolina, Texas, Florida, Oklahoma, and Virginia. Furthermore, he has deployed several times in support of Operations SOUTHERN WATCH, IRAQI FREEDOM, and ENDURING FREEDOM. Prior to his current position, CMSgt Delgadillo served as the Deputy Career Field Manager for Aircrew Flight Equipment at the Pentagon, Washington D.C.
