COLONEL ROBERSON O. HILL

Colonel Roberson O. Hill is currently the Inspector General at the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, situated at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. His military career began in 2003 when he graduated from the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) program at East Carolina University. Throughout his tenure, Hill has accumulated extensive experience as a program manager, overseeing high-profile projects such as the C-5, C-130, KC-46 Tanker, and C-17 programs, as well as initiatives related to business systems and information technology.
 
In addition to his program management expertise, Col Hill has also served as an educator, holding the position of Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies at Duke University's Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) program, where he instructed and mentored students. At Wright-Patterson AFB, he has held several key roles, including Executive Officer and Deputy Production Management Lead for the KC-46 program, which was a top priority for the Air Force at the time.
 
Col Hill has played a significant role in officer assignments, serving as the Chief of the 63A Officer Assignment Team and later as the Deputy Branch Chief for Acquisition Assignments, responsible for managing the assignments of over 2,070 acquisition officers worldwide. He has also worked on the staff of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, overseeing program elements for various aircraft and systems, including the C-5, C-17, and Defensive Systems.
 
Furthermore, he was selected as the C-17 Capabilities Materiel Leader, leading a 67-member team in planning, developing, and executing production, avionics, and communication modernization programs for 222 aircraft. Prior to his current role, Hill served as the Deputy Commander of the 88th Mission Support Group, leading 1,800 personnel and managing a $62 million budget.
