CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT ZACHARY T. GRONAU

Chief Master Sergeant Zachary T. Gronau is the Senior Enlisted Leader for the Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Special Operations Forces Directorate and Senior Enlisted Leader for the 645th Aeronautical Systems Group, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. As such, he is responsible for personnel career movement, training, combat readiness, health, welfare, morale and deployment of 120 enlisted and 2,005 total personnel across 8 Geographically Separated Units.

Chief Gronau grew up in Clinton, Wisconsin and enteredthe Air Force in September of 2000 as a Satellite, Wideband and Telemetry Systems Specialist. He cross-trained to Airborne Mission Systems Specialist in 2007 and has a background as a crewmember on several different airframes. Prior to assuming his current duties, Chief Gronau served at Tyndall AFB, FL, Charleston AFB, SC, Tinker AFB, OK, Offutt AFB, NE and Shaw AFB, SC.
