CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT MARQUES J. NEAL

Chief Master Sergeant Marques J. Neal is the Senior Enlisted Leader of the Business and Enterprise Systems Directorate, Maxwell Air Force Base, Gunter Annex, Alabama. He serves as the principle senior enlisted leader and advisor to the Program Executive Officer on all matters influencing the health, morale, welfare, training, readiness, professional development, quality of life and effective utilization of more than 2,100 military and civilian employees. He supports Air Force Life Cycle Management Center-Gunter and personnel at three bases throughout the United States with a total funding of $1.025 billion. The organization acquires, operates and sustains operational support information technology systems for the Air Force and the Department of Defense.

Chief Neal entered the Air Force in October 1995. After Basic Military Training, he received his Aircraft Armament Systems technical training from Sheppard Air Force Base and graduated in April 1996. His background includes a diverse construct, to include positions as Weapons Standardization Superintendent, Total Force Integration Detachment Superintendent, Aircraft Maintenance Production Superintendent, Weapons Section Chief, Weapons Expediter, Quality Assurance Inspector, and Aircraft Armament Craftsman. His assignments include bases in South Carolina, Florida, the Republic of Korea, Germany, South Burlington Vermont and Idaho. Chief Neal has deployed in support of Operations SOUTHERN WATCH, ODYSSEY DAWN, IRAQI FREEDOM, NEW DAWN, ENDURING FREEDOM, FREEDOM’S SENTINEL and North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s RESOLUTE SUPPORT.
