The Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center (AFIMSC) and Air Force Installation Contracting Center (AFICC) have partnered with Wright Brothers Institute (WBI) to bring you a one-of-a-kind Small Business Infrastructure and matchmaking Collider from 14-15 Aug 2024. This Collider will focus on presenting AFICC Enterprise Sourcing Solutions and opportunities available to all Small Businesses in the fields of Advisory & Assistance Services (A&AS), Base Operations Support, Base Maintenance, Construction, Architecture and Engineering (A&E), Environmental Services, Medical Services, and Operational R&D Services.
This event will include opening remarks from Mr. Anthony Everidge, the AFICC Executive Director, and “Reinventing the Future of Wright-Patterson AFB” presented by Mr. Randy Parker, the Director of AFIMSC Detachment 6, located at WPAFB. Mr. Parker will also be sharing Community Public-Private Partnership Opportunities. In addition, Ms. Sally Kay, a business innovation expert, will be presenting the best practices small businesses should pursue to define their market, customer and competitors. This will be followed by mission and opportunity briefs from the AFICC Enterprise Sourcing Squadrons, including the local WPAFB squadron and contracting squadron.
The 14 Aug general session collider will be followed by opportunities to meet individually with AFIMSC Small Business team members to discuss your capabilities and connect you within the AFIMSC enterprise.
This is a fantastic opportunity for small businesses operating in the market sectors identified above. In Government Fiscal Year 2023, AFIMSC executed more than $4.2B dollars with over $750M awarded to small business.
