LEADERSHIP
Luke Schultz
is the Director of Small Business, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The organization is responsible for overseeing reviews of approximately $36 billion in center procurements and maximizing small business opportunities across AFLCMC. The center supports acquisitions by the AFLCMC Program Executive Officers and Directorates, with six Small Business Offices across all operating locations. Prior to his current assignment, Mr. Schultz served as the Chief of the Pricing Division, Air Force Installation Contracting Agency (AFICA), Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center (AFIMSC). He led a 12-person staff that provided pricing support to a worldwide organization of 750 personnel responsible for a total contract portfolio of $55 billion. AFICA contracting authority and support extends across eight major commands and their 77 operational contracting squadrons across the globe.
Prior to his assignment as Chief of the Pricing Division, Mr. Schultz served as Supervisory Contract Negotiator for the 771 Enterprise Sourcing Squadron, Civil Engineering Commodity Council, AFICA, WPAFB, Ohio. In this position he led a 22-person staff providing contract support to the Civil Engineering Commodity Council responsible for a total contract portfolio of $1.5 billion. Mr. Schultz has served in various positions throughout his career as a contract negotiator, contract specialist, contract price/cost analyst, contracting officer, supervisory contract negotiator, and an HQ AFICA staff division chief. Mr. Schultz also obtained an unlimited contracting officer warrant. Mr. Schultz has experience in every phase of the acquisition lifecycle and has worked in various programs that cover Systems, Services, A&AS, Operational, Commercial, Specialized, Test, Construction, R&D, and Strategic Sourcing.

Air Force to allow longer braids, ponytails, bangs for women
As an outcome of the 101st Air Force uniform board, Air Force women will be able to wear their hair in up to two braids or a single ponytail with bulk not exceeding the width of the head and length not extending below a horizontal line running between the top of each sleeve inseam at the under arm through the shoulder blades. In addition, women’s bangs may now touch their eyebrows, but not cover their eyes.
