On 28 and 29 August, a bipartsian group of staffers from Ohio elected officials gathered at Wright-Patterson AFB to tour multiple base facilities. Staffers heard a presentation on the eight centers represented at WPAFB, including AFMC, AFLCMC, 88ABW, NASIC, NSIC, ARRL, AFIT and NMUSAF. The staffers also learned about USAF operational imperatives. After learning sessions, the group toured the AFLCMC Uniform Shop and Innovation Lab and observed the new NASIC facility among other points of interest. (USAF photo by 2nd Lt Morgan Searcy).
