William Bailey, Performing the Duties of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, Technology provides an overview of ongoing efforts during an acquisition transformation focused Town Hall event on Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, April 3, 2026. Bailey joined Secretary of the Air Force Troy Meink at the town hall event as part of the Secretary’s two-day mission immersion tour of the installation. The visit was an opportunity for Air Force leadership to see how various Air Force Materiel Command organizations are getting after technological innovations and are supporting the Department of the Air Force’s acquisition transformation efforts.
