Mass Casualty Exercise
Members of Hill Air Force Base's Fire Department joined various other base units and community responders April 17 for a joint mass casualty exercise. The exercise simulated a performing aircraft crashing into a group onlookers, causing the demand of patients to exceed resources and capabilities. The aim of the exercise was to maximize training for responders, test and evaluate emergency functions and response, and enhance readiness, integration, and response skills.
