Deck the Paws: Volunteers wanted to bring tail-wagging cheers

U.S. Air Force Aidan Belliveau Fitzgerald, 96th Logistics Readiness Squadron member, fills out a volunteer application in the cat room at the Pet Welfare adoption center located on Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., Dec. 6, 2023. Volunteers help maintain a clean and safe environment and the added warmth and care for the cats and dogs. Pet Welfare is non-profit, no-kill shelter that places anywhere from 100 to 300 surrendered and homeless cats and dogs very year since 1982. Those interested to adopt or volunteer may fill out an application from their website at petwelfare.net or visit the shelter to meet the adoptable cats and/or dogs.
