Tortoise relocation
A gopher tortoise, outfitted with a radio transmitter, moves into its new starter burrow Nov. 9 at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. Approximately 831 gopher tortoises were released into a new habitat on the Eglin range in the month of October. With another 30 relocated Nov. 9, the population is more than 4,300.
