Pin Pointing Pain
Capt.s Kyle Olsen and Sydney Giblin, 96th Medical Group, use electrodes to connect acupuncture needles on a patient’s shoulder to an electro-acupuncture machine Feb. 14 at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. Olsen, Giblin and other family medicine residents learn the acupuncture techniques and body points through a 200-hour course. Eventually, they can incorporate acupuncture care in their clinical practice at their first assignment.
