Metals Technology Airmen reduce two year wait time to two month
The finished plastic trunnion beam model (left) and the trunnion beam (right) rests on a work table, July 6, 2021, at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho. This is the first time that a trunnion beam is being made in the Air Force, parts such as these are usually outsourced and manufactured by civilian contractors.
