TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – During a Roadshow visit to Tinker Air Force Base in May, Cynthia Abbott, the Director of Logistics for the Air Force Life Cycle Management, presented two AFLCMC Logistics Management PALACE Acquire (PAQ) interns with graduation certificates for successfully completing the internship program.
As part of the Pathways Programs, the PAQ program offers participants the opportunity to attain a permanent full-time position during a two-four year formal training plan designed to let participants experience both personal and professional growth while dealing effectively and ethically with change, complexity and problem solving.
Participants will receive promotions and yearly salary increases based upon successful performance and supervisory approval. Upon completion of the formal training plan, the PAQ program offers participants a permanent position at the current duty location or within the servicing major command, making this program a great opportunity to begin a successful civilian career with the Air Force Civilian Service.
Currently, AFLCMC has over 40 PAQs and trainees in the logistics and acquisition program management career fields at Tinker AFB.
