• AFLCMC hosts Virtual Focus Week April 26-30

    The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center is hosting the second virtual Focus Week of 2021 from April 26-30. Focus week is an opportunity for personnel to complete mandatory and discretionary leadership and acquisition training and earn continuous learning points. Dozens of courses will be available, ranging from career and functional area-specific training and coaching to personal development classes.

  • “SpeedDealer” team awards long-range radar integration contract with production options

    The Theater Battle Control Division, headquartered here, awarded an $8.4 million integration contract to Lockheed Martin Corp. March 26 as part of the Three Dimensional Expeditionary Long-Range Radar Rapid Prototyping program. Program officials said the main intent of the integration effort is to develop, test and field interfaces that allow the radar system to transmit data to other command and control nodes.

    The largest aircraft in the U.S. Air Force inventory, will receive key upgrades, after the Mobility and Training Aircraft Directorate recently awarded an Alternate Modification Installation (AMI) contract – worth up to $92.8 million – to Tyonek Native Corporation, to install avionic modifications on the C-5 Galaxy fleet.
