DoD Improves Process for Former Military Members Hired to Non-foreign OCONUS Civilian Positions

As of March 12, 2025, retired/separated Service members are authorized to negotiate a service agreement if appointed to a civilian position at a non-foreign OCONUS duty station, reducing Government travel and spending.
