HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. -- Residents living in privatized housing here are encouraged to share their experiences and provide feedback through the Department of Defense Annual Housing Tenant Satisfaction Survey.
Administered by independent third-party firm CEL & Associates, Inc., the survey collects open, honest, and anonymous insights from tenants living in privatized housing.
“This survey is a critical tool for shaping the future of military housing,” said Laura Lee Morris, installation resident advocate. “Tenant feedback directly informs Department of the Air Force leadership and housing project owners about what improvements and changes are needed.”
Residents will receive an email with a link to access the survey from AirForceHousingSurvey@celassociates.com March 3. The survey will remain open through May 1, allowing all tenants, regardless of branch, rank, or duty status, to provide input.
Only one survey per household may be submitted.
To prevent issues receiving the survey link, Morris advises residents in privatized housing to confirm their primary email on file with Hunt Military Communities is a civilian email address rather than a .mil or .gov account.
Last year’s survey led to improvements, including new playgrounds, additional parking spaces, a new drainage system in the Fenway neighborhood, and driveway repair for some cape-style homes.
Ongoing projects include bathroom exhausts, parking, and improved lighting and HVAC in the Flintlock Ridge neighborhood.
“These enhancements aim to improve the quality of life for all residents and create a more enjoyable living environment,” said Morris.
Once survey results are reviewed and approved by Department of the Air Force officials, the Air Force Civil Engineer Center will provide reports to installation Military Housing Offices and project owners to inform future housing enhancements.
Residents who have not received the survey link by March 4, or who have additional questions, should contact Morris at Laura.Morris.3@us.af.mil.
