HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center will host its next Focus Week April 22 through 26.
This quarterly initiative provides AFLCMC personnel with training opportunities to enhance leadership and acquisition skills, along with personal development, while earning continuous learning points.
The April session, offering more than 130 courses, many virtually, allows for members of the workforce to participate regardless of location.
“These courses cover specialized career and functional training as well as broader personal development topics, all instructed by experts at the center knowledgeable in the latest systems and programs,” said Jason Sibrel, Focus Week program manager.
Officials highlighted some new courses offered during this iteration of Focus Week:
How to Navigate Air Force Contracting Central: Teaching effective utilization of Air Force Contracting Central for acquisition knowledge. Officials will offer a live demonstration on how to use AFCC as a central hub to research acquisition topics, gather contracting tools and templates, and connect with subject matter experts.
Decisions before the Decision: Emphasizing data-driven decision-making and the inputs influencing outcomes.
Air National Guard: A virtual course diving into the history, authorities, and missions of the Air National Guard.
Attendance is open to military, civilian, and contractor personnel. Contractors need approval from their government point of contact to comply with training contract requirements.
