Captain Ryan Miller recently became the first graduate of the AFLCMC Hybrid-Georgia Tech “Advanced Academic Degree/Delta TechOps Education with Industry program.” The program provides opportunities for officers in specific career fields.

Capt. Miller now works with the Rapid Sustainment Office (RSO) directorate.

After completing the rigorous two-year academic program, Miller graduated with a Master of Data Analytics degree. He did this while balancing a 10-month EWI experience at Delta Tech Ops, the maintenance, repair, and overhaul division of Delta Air Lines.

The program launched after former Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics, Dr. Will Roper, inquired how the USAF could partner with Georgia Tech and Delta TechOps to build the data and analytic skill sets needed to support the digital transformation.

On Oct. 27, Miller was awarded a coin for his hard work by now former AFLCMC commander and Program Executive Officer for the RSO, retired Lt. Gen. Shaun Q. Morris.
