AFSAC hosts celebratory lunch to mark Black history month

The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Air Force Security Assistance Cooperation Directorate (AFSAC) hosted a luncheon in honor of Black History Month at the Wright-Patt Club, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, Feb. 15, 2023.

The event featured speaker Mr. Michael Carter, Chief Diversity Officer, and Senior Advisor to the President of Sinclair Community College.

Dave and Flow provided musical entertainment. Pastor Antwon Smith of Impact Christian Center provided the invocation. Marcus Bedinger performed both the National Anthem and "Lift Every Voice and Sing," also called the Black National Anthem. 

For those around WPAFB, the National Museum of the United States Air Force is also hosting a scavenger hunt in honor of Black history month all February.
