The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Director of Engineering and Technical Management Services Jacqueline Janning-Lask recently hosted a virtual ceremony celebrating the directorate’s 2021 annual award winners.

As the largest organic technical workforce in the Air Force acquisition community, the directorate is charged with formulating and implementing an effective set of technical processes. The directorate’s highly skilled teammates work tirelessly to provide superior technical recommendations, decisions, and products to the warfighters when they need them.

"Mission success is a team effort and all of you have contributed in substantial ways," said AFLCMC Commander Lt. Gen. Shaun Morris during his opening comments. "The achievements we will be recognizing today are critical to EN’s technical success, driving forward our digital engineering initiatives to provide more agile war-winning capabilities to the warfighter."

“Today as we celebrate the winners you will learn of the stellar accomplishment of your wingmen and perspectives from the people who know them best, their team leads, managers, and supervisors,” said Janning-Lask. “You will also see how team EN leads innovation, creates the future, and most importantly serves the warfighter.”

“We are in a period of great change with opportunities abound. Digital transformation is skyrocketing us further and faster. New capabilities are transitioning for our weapon systems and superb talent is accelerating ingenuity only found in the United States Air Force. Today we are here to celebrate those who seize those opportunities and make a difference. The competition was very tight and all the nominees should be proud of your accomplishments and for being recognized as EN’s best,” said Janning-Lask.

There were more than 150 individual and 24 team nominees in 18 categories across the Center’s nine major operating locations.
