CHRISTOPHER W. BROWNE

SMSgt Christopher W. Browne is currently assigned as the Propulsion Directorate's Senior Enlisted Leader, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. He serves as the senior enlisted advisor providing leadership on all enlisted matters impacting health, morale, and welfare across the directorate that encompasses 600 military, contractor, and government personnel. Browne serves as the primary communications link between the directorate's director and the enlisted community, ensuring understanding and compliance with the director's programs and policies. In addition, Browne advises the director on important enlisted force issues and concerns. He provides a critical interface with Headquarters Air Force and four major commands supporting the Next Generation Air Dominance (NGAD) propulsion programs, ensuring reliability, maintainability, sustainment, schedule, and performance requirements.

Browne was born in Brookfield, WI, and enlisted in the Air Force in April 2002. He graduated from the Aerospace Propulsion Apprentice Course at Sheppard Air Force Base, TX, in September 2002. Browne has performed many leadership roles at the flight, squadron, and group levels. His assignments have supported propulsion maintenance on F15C/D/E and F-16C/D aircraft for OPERATIONS SOUTHERN WATCH, ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM, NEW DAWN, FREEDOM SENTINEL, and Combined Joint Task Force, Horn of Africa.

Prior to his current position, Senior Browne served as the Centralized Repair Facility Flight Chief, 35th Maintenance Squadron, 35th Maintenance Group, 35th Fighter Wing, Misawa Air Base, Japan.
