Arnold Air Force Base leadership have begun taking proactive measures to protect the health of the workforce and help slow the spread of community transmission.

To date, such measures include expanding telework opportunities and limiting mission activities to those which are most vital to our national security. We are adhering to the Department of Defense’s travel restrictions, and have canceled all upcoming community engagements and Services activities, as well as limited our food service to take-out only. We have closed Mulligan’s Grill, and the Arnold Golf Course will remain open only for scheduled tee times.

We continue to reinforce good personal hygiene and sanitation practices per the Center for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines. As the spread of the coronavirus within Tennessee grows, we will take more aggressive action up to maximizing telework options and limiting the workforce to mission-essential personnel only. Branch-level leadership and immediate supervisors will be the primary conduit of information for the workforce.

Additionally, information will be kept current on the Arnold AFB public website, where a page has been created for coronavirus related topics at https://www.arnold.af.mil/coronavirus/. We will also post updates to the AEDC/Arnold AFB Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/ArnoldAirForceBase/.
