MAXWELL AFB-GUNTER ANNEX, Ala. -- U.S. Air Force Academy cadets now have access to a new Virtual Military Personnel Flight software. This provides the cadets with a simplified way to update their Record of Emergency Data.

In July 2023, the Human Resources Division within the Program Executive Office for Business and Enterprise Systems fielded a new Virtual Military Personnel Flight software capability to deliver Virtual Record of Emergency Data or vRED accessibility to cadets. With more than 4,000 cadets and a history of excellence and focus, Academy Superintendent Lt. Gen. Richard Clark raised safety as his top priority within the Air Force Personnel Center.

The new software has increased the capabilities and efficiency of the Virtual Military Personnel Flight as a whole.

Accurate information is critical and allows Academy leadership the ability to provide expedited notification in an emergency and/or death of the cadet or service member. Cadets and active-duty personnel are required to review their information annually in order to keep their records accurate.
