SENIOR MASTER SERGEANT CHRIS L. KENNEDY

Sergeant Chris L. Kennedy is the Bomber Directorates Senior Enlisted Leader and a member of the B-21 Systems Program Office (SPO), Low Observables Team. He advises Directorate leadership on the enlisted force matters and advises B-21 senior leadership on decisions concerning Low Observables maintenance and sustainment for one of the Air Force’s top priorities.

Sergeant Kennedy graduated basic training, Lackland AFB, in 2003. Upon completion he served as a Aircraft Structural Maintenance Jorneyman on C-130 and F-15 aircraft before cross training into Low Observable Maintenance for F-22’s at Elmendorf AFB, Alaska. He was then assigned as a shift Supervisor at Holloman AFB, New Mexico in charge of the Signatures Assessment Section statusing and scheduling F-22 aircraft for maintenance. Sergeant Kennedy then became a Quality Assurance Inspector for the 49th Maintenance Group executing maintenance inspections for 1,400 assigned personnel. After changing duty stations in 2014, he was selected to become the Section Chief at Tyndall AFB, Florida leading a section of 155 personnel in the management of F-22 Low Observable Maintenance for 56 assigned aircraft over two squadrons. During this time he also led deployment of 35 personnel in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom before being selected to fulfill his current duties at Wright Patterson AFB.
