42 ABW Hosts State of the Base Ceremony, Inducts New Honorary Commanders

42nd Air Base Wing Honorary Commanders and Emeritus Honorary Commanders are recognized for their contributions to the 42nd ABW at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama April 21, 2025 during the installation’s inaugural State of the Base address. The Honorary Commanders’ program pairs civilian leaders with commanders on the base to encourage mutual understanding, collaboration, and increase civic-military engagement across the community.
