HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. -- A language program opportunity for Airmen and a call for volunteers for a June Summer Bash are featured in the latest episode of Team Hanscom Today.
Ashley Babatov and 2nd Lt. Madyson Ohren, both with the 66th Force Support Squadron, served as guest hosts for the episode.
“We want to start by highlighting a once-a-year opportunity open to all active-duty Air Force members,” said Babatov during the broadcast. “The Language Enabled Airman Program is now accepting applications.”
The Air Force Culture and Language Center's program develops language-enabled, cross-cultural Airmen to meet Air Force mission requirements. Applications are being accepted through July 18.
“My husband is a part of the program and loves all the opportunities it provides him,” said Babatov.
More information, including eligibility and application requirements, is available at airuniversity.af.edu.
The episode also featured details about the upcoming Summer Bash, scheduled to take place June 13 outside the base chapel.
“With summer just around the corner, Team Hanscom is gearing up to celebrate another amazing Summer Bash,” said Babatov. “It’s also when we’ll unveil the name of our new mascot!”
Organizers are currently seeking volunteers to help make the event a success. All volunteers will receive an exclusive 2025 Summer Bash T-shirt.
For more information about how to volunteer, contact the 66th Force Support Squadron.
