Tinker Air Force Base paused to recognize and celebrate the 18 exceptional Master Sergeants who have achieved the rank of Senior Master Sergeant here, Feb. 27, 2025. The members selected and recognized from Tinker and its geographically-separated units make up 18 of the 1,635 Master Sergeants who were selected during the 25E8 promotion cycle.
Less than one percent of the enlisted force reaches the rank of Senior Master Sergeant, making this accomplishment a significant milestone in their careers. These individuals represent the top tier of leadership within the enlisted ranks, entrusted with greater responsibilities and serving as mentors and guides for their fellow Airmen.
