WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- The Reliability and Maintainability Information System (REMIS) team has successfully transitioned to Agile software development within the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's Business and Enterprise Systems (BES) Directorate.
This strategic shift has resulted in more than doubling the number of approved application releases under the United States Air Force's Logistics, Engineering, and Force Protection Directorate.
By adopting Agile methodology, the multidisciplinary REMIS team, including software development, engineering, testing, program management professionals, and the functional owner (Headquarters Air Force)—has enhanced its ability to respond to changing requirements, improve collaboration, and accelerate software delivery.
