ARLINGTON, Va. -- The U.S. Senate recently confirmed the nomination of promotion for the leader of the Department of the Air Force’s Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications and Battle Management (DAF PEO C3BM).
Maj. Gen. Luke Cropsey assumed his new rank on July 31, 2024, and will continue to serve as the PEO responsible for the DAF BATTLE NETWORK. The DAF BATTLE NETWORK is the systems-of-systems that provides resilient decision advantage, and the department's contribution to Combined Joint All Domain Command and Control.
“While honored, this promotion is really a testament to the accomplishments of the incredible team I have the privilege of serving,” said Cropsey, a 1995 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy. “We’re just getting started here in C3BM, and I’m excited to continue standing beside my Air Force and Space Force teammates to deliver what our Nation needs to win the next fight.”
The PEO is the integrating organization for C3BM within the DAF, aligning technical architecture and acquisition authorities to streamline the delivery of decision advantage capabilities. DAF PEO C3BM integrates more than 50 programs of record across the department and interfaces with a myriad of joint, coalition, and industry partners.
