MAXWELL AFB-GUNTER ANNEX, Ala. -- The Agile Services Office (ASO) has positioned itself to provide real-time reporting based on senior leadership demand signal as of October 2, 2023.
Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 brought with it a need to reduce manual efforts and utilize automation to the greatest extent possible.
The ASO successfully created a real-time reporting dashboard based on team activities tracked within the BES Atlassian Toolset (BAT).
The team added reportable items and honed data feeds for continuing dashboarding events and reporting to all levels of leadership. Dashboard reporting includes items such as regularly occurring workshops, coaching both on tools usage and Agile Fundamentals, Information Assurance Vulnerability Management and Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (IAVM's/CVE) updates, team migration into the BAT, service desk totals, and meetings by month and quarter.
Through the ASO’s efforts, there are opportunities for other BES portfolios to copy and modify the dashboards to meet the growing demand for transparency and openness on capability delivery team outcomes.
The Program Executive Officer’s vision and plan for FY24 brings with it a need to support reporting in a holistic approach. The ASO will continue to improve the dashboard product and strive to find new ways to support the vision. All this is made possible through the tracking of tickets and issues within the BAT.
