HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – Human resource officials with the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center will host a digital hiring event Sept. 16 and 17 to fill critical positions with Hanscom-based acquisition directorates.

The event will bring together hiring managers and qualified candidates seeking program management positions in the Digital and Command, Control, Communications, Intelligence and Networks Directorates.

“We are looking to fill both immediate and future acquisition program manager positions at Hanscom Air Force Base,” said Melvin Tillman, the chief of resource management for the Acquisition Program Management office at Hanscom. “We are going to hold virtual interviews during the two days of the event, with job offers going out as early as the following day. We really encourage all smart and ambitious program manager candidates to apply. ”

In the Air Force, program managers plan the management and acquisition strategy for projects or programs within cost, schedule, and performance baselines. They continually study, review, and evaluate each program’s progress and advise program directors of significant actions and recommend solutions.

Prospective employees must submit applications by Sept. 9 at 11:59 p.m. EST at https://afciviliancareers.com/aflcmc/.

Applications must include resumes, unofficial/official transcripts, and when applicable, copies of SF-50s, DD214 (copy 2 or 4), Veterans Administration Disability or Schedule ‘A’ letter, or other supporting documentation.
