JACQUELINE S. JANNING-LASK - DIRECTOR, ENGINEERING DIRECTORATE

Jacqueline S. Janning-Lask, a member of the Senior Executive Service, is the Director of Engineering and Technical Management Services, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The directorate ensures America's air, space, and cyber forces have superior Air Force intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, precision engagement, and electronic warfare systems capabilities by developing, demonstrating and transitioning advanced sensors and sensing technologies. The directorate’s primary areas of technology investment include radio frequency sensing; net-centric spectrum warfare; electro-optical sensors and countermeasures; automatic target recognition; performance based sensing; and electronic devices. Ms. Janning-Lask oversees an annual budget of more than $900 million, and directs the activities of approximately 1,200 scientists, engineers, and support.

 

COL. NICOLE K. RUFF-LEHMAN - MILITARY DEPUTY, RAPID SUSTAINMENT OFFICE (RSO)

Colonel Nicole K. Ruff-LehmanColonel Nicole K. Ruff-Lehman is currently assigned as the Military Deputy, Air Force Rapid Sustainment Office, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Air Force Material Command, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. She is responsible for identifying, applying and scaling world-class technologies at the speed of relevance to the Air Force sustainment enterprise, with the goals of increasing mission readiness and reducing life cycle costs. The key focus areas include:  Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning; Advanced Manufacturing; Automation and Robotics; Data and Digital Environments; Augmented and Virtual Reality; and, Rapid and Austere Maintenance Environments.  Her previous assignment was student at the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy (formerly the Industrial College of the Armed Forces), Fort Lesley J. McNair, Washington, D.C.

Colonel Nicole Ruff-Lehman will discuss her upbringing and how it has shaped her career. She will also explain how diversity and inclusion means everyone gets to have a voice and seat at the table. Embracing diversity and inclusion means a stronger Air Force by attracting top talent from all parts of the country. Col. Ruff-Lehman will touch on leadership traits that help build dynamic teams.

Speaker Natalie JohnsonNatalie Johnson is a co-founder of ViDL Solutions. She serves as the company’s Chief Visionary Officer and oversees business development, strategy and innovation. Additionally, she works directly with clients, providing consulting, training and coaching services. 

Natalie has a master's degree in wellness promotion, has worked extensively in the fields of individual and team performance and has 30 years of experience teaching, training, coaching and consulting. She is an industry-recognized Performance Coach, a sough-after keynote speaker, a certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator and a certified coach with the Wellcoaches™ organization. Natalie has worked with numerous large, global organizations such as Johnson & Johnson and Deloitte as well as with the United States Airforce and Department of Defense.
