Headquarters recognizes annual award winners

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- Air Force Materiel Command civilian and military personnel were recognized Jan. 24 at the 2019 Annual Civilian and Military Award Recognition Breakfast presided over by Maj. Gen. Carl Schaefer, AFMC deputy commander.

Each award nominee was recognized before the crowd of approximately 150 breakfast attendees, before the top-tier performers from the civilian, enlisted and officer ranks at headquarters were announced. The event was held at the Wright-Patterson Club and Banquet Center.

The winners beat out a field of 40 nominees chosen from eight categories. The winners are listed below by category.

Military categories:

Airman - Staff Sgt. Markuise S. Stateman, Logistics, Civil Engineering, Force Protection and Nuclear Integration

Noncommissioned Officer - Master Sgt. Joshua N. Barnes, Logistics, Civil Engineering, Force Protection and Nuclear Integration

Senior Noncommissioned Officer - Senior Master Sgt. John R. Laurence, Office of the Inspector General

Company Grade Officer - Capt. Daniel J. Musleve, Office of the Director of Staff

Field Grade Officer – Maj. Jessica M. Zembek, Office of the Inspector General

Civilian categories:

Category l - Lindsay A. McNeely, Directorate of Manpower, Personnel and Services

Category II - Benjamin O. Morris, Plans, Programs, Requirements & Assessments

Category III - Terese E. Smith, Office of the Inspector General
