3D printing successfully used to fabricate discontinued part for lube oil system

Paul Kurtz, an intern with the Test Operations and Sustainment contractor National Aerospace Solutions, used AutoCAD to develop a 3D model of a breaker handle, depicted above in AutoCAD software. This particular breaker handle is used on a breaker that feeds power to a 20 horsepower, 480-volt alternating current motor in the lube oil system, which directly supports two C-Plant process air compressors at Arnold Air Force Base.
